Join us for a Sweet Celebration of Community, Ritual, and the Summer Solstice! In today's fast-paced world, finding simple yet powerful ways to cultivate mindfulness in children is more important than ever. With wide-eyed wonder, children and families will explore the origins of cacao, medicinal uses of this plant medicine, and practice ritual & intention setting. What makes this cacao circle truly special is the opportunity it provides us to teach keiki the art of pause and mindfulness. At Kula Mana Wellness, we feel guiding our keiki to connect with nature, themselves, and our community in a joyful and meaningful way is very important. We will have a guest speaker that owns a local cacao farm will talk to us about processing cacao as well as a mini macrame workshop by a local artist! What is a Cacao Ceremony? Originating from ancient Mesoamerican cultures, a cacao ceremony is a sacred ritual that honors the spirit of the cacao plant. It's a time-honored tradition of coming together, sharing, and fostering a sense of unity and gratitude. Why Bring Your Child? 🌱 Cultivate Connection: Through music, and interactive activities, children will learn about the cultivation of cacao in a fun and accessible way. 🎨 Express Creativity: Engage in weaving macrame inspired by cacao and the summer solstice, allowing kids to express themselves creatively while learning about these special traditions. 👭 Build Community: Connect with other families in a warm and welcoming environment, fostering friendships and a sense of belonging.
